Man Charged with 5th OWI After Majestic Parking Lot Fender Bender
Suspect, 43, gave officers a phone number with too many digits, according to criminal complaint.
A Waukesha man is facing his fifth operating while intoxicated charge after he got into an accident of the Majestic Movie Theater parking lot July 2.
Rodrick L. Jefferson, 43, was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court July 5, with one count of fifth offense OWI. If convicted, he faces up to six years in prison and $10,000 in fines.
According to the criminal complaint, Jefferson hit a pickup truck while trying to park his car in a parking space at the theater. The driver of the pickup truck noticed that Jefferson appeared intoxicated and asked officers to investigate.

While talking with an officer, Jefferson had a difficult time getting his driver’s license out of his wallet to show it to an officer and when asked what his phone number was, Jefferson recited a 13-digit number.
After looking through Jefferson’s car, the officer found an open bottle of brandy on the floorboard of his vehicle.

Jefferson was unable to pass a field sobriety test and had a blood alcohol level of 0.31 percent at the time of the incident.
Jefferson is currently being held in Waukesha County Jail on $10,000 cash bond.
