Man Charged After Realtor Sees Pot Plants
Suspect told Waukesha police he was growing the plants for personal use, according to criminal complaint.
A Glendale man was charged in Thursday after he accussed of growing marijuana plants earlier this year when he lived in Waukesha.
Matthew M. Schossow, 24, is charged with one count of manufacture and delivery of THC, the active ingredient in marijuana. If convicted, he faces up to 3 ½ years in prison and $10,000 in fines.
According to the criminal complaint, on April 26, a realtor was doing a walk-through of Schossow’s residence in the 100 block of Racine Avenue when he noticed marijuana plants and florescent lights set up inside a closet. The realtor, who is a former police officer, then called police who found Schossow’s car with a garbage bag in it with more marijuana plants.

After Schossow got into his car, police pulled him over and he admitted growing the plants, saying he planned to use them for personal consumption because he uses the drug infrequently, according to the complaint.
