In November, Knackstedt was living with a woman and her father in an apartment in the 1100 block of Fleetfoot Drive. The woman’s landlord contacted her while she was gone one day and told her the apartment was flooded. The woman came home to find water and feces all over the floor and when she asked Knackstedt what happened, he was too drunk to explain.

The woman and her father then tried to clean up the mess and told Knackstedt to leave. However, he started making threatening comments toward them, so they left and called police.

When officers arrived, they found the apartment smelling of feces and Knackstedt sitting on the couch. He first refused to listen to officers, but got on the ground, but continued to resist getting handcuffed.

Officers had to strike him several times in the abdomen to get him to comply.

Knackstedt will make his initial appearance in court March 26.
