Man Charged After Exposing Himself on Waukesha Lawn

Suspect, 23, was wearing nothing but a bathrobe, so neighbors could see his genitals, according to the criminal complaint.

A 23-year-old Waukesha man is facing charges after he was allegedly wearing nothing but a bathrobe outside his home and exposing himself to people walking past, according to a criminal complaint filed in .

According to the criminal complaint:

On Sept. 27, Joseph Fischer was sitting outside of his home in the 1300 block of East Wabash Avenue wearing nothing but a bathrobe and neighbors could clearly see his genitals. He continued to stay outside until police arrive, when he then ran inside and put on sweatpants and a T-shirt.

Police have had previous issues with Fischer exposing himself. His mother told police he hasn’t been taking his medication and his behavior was erratic.

Fischer was charged Wednesday with one count of disorderly conduct and one count of bail jumping. If convicted, he faces up to one year in prison and $11,000 in fines.
