Man Charged After Being Stunned with Taser While Pantsless

Suspect allegedly escaped back of sheriff's deputy's squad car and ran on foot in Waukesha.

A 23-year-old Watertown man is facing charges he tried to escape a Waukesha County sheriff’s deputy in Waukesha after being arrested for fighting with another man.

Kory R. Forrest was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Wednesday with one count of attempted escape, one count of criminal damage to property, one count of disorderly conduct and one count of resisting an officer. If convicted, he faces up to four years in prison and $26,000 in fines.

According to the criminal complaint, at 11:44 p.m. Tuesday, the deputy was called to the Goerkes Corners park and ride in Town of Brookfield after Forrest began fighting with another man while the two were in a car driving home from the Brewers game.

Forrest was placed under arrest, but continued to ask the officer if he could smoke a cigarette and when the officer said no, he attempted to stand up.

While taking him to Waukesha County Jail, the complaint states the deputy noticed Forrest moved his hands in front of his body, unfastened his seatbelt and began kicking a Plexiglas window inside the squad car until it broke. The deputy pulled the car over near Moreland Boulevard and White Rock Avenue, at which time Forrest got out of the vehicle and ran on foot with no pants on as they had been connected to his handcuffs.

The deputy chased Forrest and eventually stunned him with a Taser.
