Man Charged with Selling Crack in Bathroom
Suspect sold drugs to an undercover police officer after an informant set up a deal, according to criminal complaint.
A 29-year-old Illinois man is facing charges after he was caught selling crack cocaine to an undercover police officer inside a local fast food restaurant’s bathroom, according to a criminal complaint.
Lamont Davis, of Oak Park, IL, was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court last week with one count of manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance near a school and one count of maintaining a drug trafficking place. If convicted, he could face up to 16 years in prison and $35,000 in fines.

On March 1, 2011, a police informant set up a drug deal with a woman to purchase $200 worth of crack in the parking lot of the fast food place. The woman and Davis met up with the informant and an undercover police officer at the restaurant and Davis told him they would conduct the deal inside the bathroom.
The undercover officer did the deal with Davis in the bathroom and everyone later left the area. Davis was pulled over shortly afterwards by police.

Davis is out of custody and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.
