The following information was provided in the Waukesha Police Department's call log from May 7 through May 9. 

Watch out, Jane.

Apparently a man near Bristol Court and Woodridge Lane may think he is Tarzan.

A caller reported to the Waukesha Police Department at 12:54 p.m. Tuesday that a neighbor has been acting a little strange recently. The man’s been pounding on his chest like a gorilla and shouting like Tarzan while outside, the caller reported to police.

Police officers checked the area for the man, but he was not outside. The caller just wanted police to be aware of the man’s behavior.

  • A theft of a transformer from a backyard was reported at 7:18 a.m. Tuesday in the 200 block of Arcadian Avenue.
  • A person who had been reported missing was taken into custody at 1:19 p.m. Tuesday at Waukesha South High School.
  • A juvenile was cited for truancy at 2:41 p.m. Tuesday at Waukesha West High School.
  • The theft of copper wiring from an air conditioning unit was reported at 3:57 p.m. Tuesday in the 500 block of Elizabeth Street.
  • Two arrests were made after it was reported juveniles stole scooters from a yard at 4:09 p.m. Tuesday in the 800 block of North Hartwell Avenue.
  • A student at Carroll University was arrested after campus security found baggies of marijuana in his dorm room in the 300 block of Barney Street at 5:21 p.m. Tuesday.
  • A theft of scrap metal was reported at 5:24 p.m. Tuesday in the 1300 block of Pearl Street.
  • A domestic disturbance was reported at 7:03 p.m. Tuesday in the 2800 block of Sussex Lane.
  • Two people were reportedly engaged in “inappropriate behavior” in the bushes in Cutler Park at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday. Waukesha police responded to the indecent exposure complaint and the two people were gone upon police arrival.
  • A man was warned after he “blew up” at a neighbor when she asked him to control his dog. The woman told police the man’s dog had urinated on her motorcycle at 9:36 p.m. Tuesday in the 800 block of Beechwood Avenue.
  • A man who arrived at a bar in the 2400 block of North Grandview Boulevard on a motorcycle was arrested after he was denied entry to the bar because he was intoxicated at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday. Bar security reported the man dropped his motorcycle several times in the parking lot.
  • A car window was smashed with a brick or a large rock while a man and his girlfriend were sleeping in the backseat of the vehicle at 3:01 a.m. Wednesday in the 2600 block of Pebble Valley Road.
  • A vehicle was entered overnight and a school bag with old homework was dumped on the sidewalk in the 800 block of Riverwalk Drive. The incident was reported at 4:23 a.m. Wednesday.
  • A theft was reported at 12:47 p.m. Wednesday at Waukesha South High School.
  • A disorderly conduct incident was reported at 1:50 p.m. Wednesday at Waukesha West High School.
  • A woman reported at 2:46 p.m. Wednesday that her ex-boyfriend who was in prison in Georgia called her and threatened to kill her and rape her daughter. The woman called police back and said he apologized and she no longer wanted a police response. She told the ex-boyfriend if he called again, she would report him to police.
  • A GPS and cords for electronic devices were stolen from a vehicle overnight in the 2700 block of North University Drive. The incident was reported at 4:02 p.m. Wednesday.
  • A neighbor in the 300 block of Darlene Drive reported at 4:58 p.m. Wednesday that a sex offender was violating the rules of having no solicitors coming to the home. Police spoke with the sex offender, who had ordered a pizza and met the delivery driver at the street. The sex offender was following the rules, police say.
  • A foster mother reported at 5:13 p.m. Wednesday that the friend’s of the foster child’s biological mother were making comments about going “up to the door and taking care of business” and “They might have a nice home and a nice yard but I have no problem taking them out.” The woman reported the biological mother was receptive to the foster mother and to the situation.
  • A loud noise complaint was filed by a neighbor in the 400 block of West Main Street at 9:50 p.m. Wednesday because a bar had karaoke and the door was open. The bar’s door was closed at 9:59 p.m. Wednesday.
  • A man in the 200 block of Park Place at 10:55 p.m. Wednesday after calling while he was drunk to say he was suicidal and that he didn’t want to deal with his caseworker anymore. The man really wanted to move to Texas and his caseworker wouldn’t allow it until social services were set up in Texas. The man was cited because of past problems with police.
  • An arrest was made after a domestic disturbance was reported at 2:54 a.m. Thursday in the 400 block of West Newhall Avenue.
  • A man in the 300 block of Jackson Court was arrested after his girlfriend reported at 3:59 a.m. Thursday that the man was drinking all night and woke up acting “crazy.” The woman told police there were three children in the apartment and she armed herself with a kitchen pot while calling police.
