A 19-year-old Waukesha man is accused of using a knife to threaten a man behind a downtown Waukesha business, according to a criminal complaint.
Christopher E. Hanson was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court on Monday with one count of disorderly conduct with use of a dangerous weapon and one count of bail jumping. If convicted, he faces up to one year in prison and $11,000 in fines.
According to the criminal complaint:
At 4 p.m. Friday, a man was behind a business located at 362 W. Main St., putting up an open sign when a friend of his mentioned there was a vehicle in the parking lot that hit his truck the day before and left. The vehicle was driven by Hanson and when confronted he became upset, walked to the passenger side door of his vehicle and flicked open a knife.
Hanson yelled to the man “you better watch your (expletive) truck.” When the man said his truck is on camera, Hanson then said “wait until you move your (expletive) truck.”
Hanson is free on $250 bond while awaiting trial.
