A 20-year-old Waukesha man is facing charges after he allegedly sexually assaulted a high school girl he met while working with a program designed to help students interested in joining the U.S. Air Force, according to a criminal complaint.
Caleb R. Hendryx was charged in on Tuesday with one count of fourth-degree sexual assault. If convicted, he could face up to nine months in prison and $10,000 in fines.
According to the criminal complaint:
The victim, 15, met Hendryx while involved with a military-type organization for high school students and on Oct. 22 she agreed to meet him for a movie at the Marcus Majestic Movie Theatre in Brookfield.
While waiting on a hallway bench in the theater, Hendryx began to place his hand under the girl’s clothes and onto her buttocks. He then kissed her on the cheek and asked if she was comfortable, but when she said no, he stopped.
They then went into the movie where he again placed his hand down her pants and began to touch her genitals until she said she was uncomfortable and he stopped. While walking to his car after the movie, Hendryx leaned over to kiss the girl, but she turned away, so he put his hand down her shirt and began to touch her breast.
Hendryx apologized to the girl in a text message and asked her to not tell anyone, especially his girlfriend.
