Jasper Lane Stabbing Victim in Stable Condition

An autistic suspect is in custody after Waukesha police say he stabbed his uncle in the leg Monday morning.

A man received non-life threatening injuries and was in stable condition after being stabbed by his autistic nephew Monday morning on Jasper Lane, according to Capt. Ron Oremus.

The victim was transported to the hospital for a leg injury. The suspect, who was taken into custody, was also transported to the hospital for a back injury.

The suspect’s mother was also arrested for resisting/obstruction. She was transported to the hospital for a minor injury not related to the stabbing, according to Oremus.

Waukesha police officers were dispatched to the home in the 300 block of Jasper Lane at 8:37 a.m. Monday after receiving a 911 landline hangup call. When a dispatcher called the home back, a woman answered out of breath and a man yelled “Who is it?” in the background before the phone was disconnected again.
