Investigation into Fletcher Arms Burglary Continues

ATF assisting Waukesha Police Department in looking for dozens of firearms stolen from Waukesha gun range.

The is continuing to investigate the burglary of Fletcher Arms where dozens of firearms were stolen last week.

If anyone saw anything or knows anything related to the burglary, they are asked to call the Waukesha Police Department at 262-524-3831.

Capt. Ron Oremus said Thursday that the Waukesha Police Department is working with the ATF - Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives in the investigation. The ATF will look into cases that involve 10 or more stolen firearms, Oremus said.

“We are doing what we can,” Oremus said about the investigation.

was burglarized at through a smashed window, resulting in 32 small-caliber handguns and one rifle being stolen. More than anything, the police department wants those weapons off the streets.

“That is our main concern,” Oremus said.
