Intoxicated Man Faces Charges for Wielding a Knife

Suspect allegedly wanted to "get" another man Sunday in the 1000 block of White Rock Avenue.

A 33-year-old Waukesha man is facing charges after he was threatening to “get” another man and screaming obscenities while brandishing a silver kitchen knife while shirtless in the middle of a street drunk, according to a criminal complaint.

Thomas W. Jackson III was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Monday with one count of disorderly conduct. If convicted, he faces up to 90 days in jail and $1,000 in fines.

According to the criminal complaint, at 10:53 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to a residence in the 1000 block of White Rock Avenue after Jackson was shouting obscenities and brandishing the knife and threatening to get another man. Upon arriving at the scene, officers saw Jackson walking across the street to a residence of woman and when told to stop, he continued toward it.

The woman who lives at the residence explained Jackson wasn’t welcome at the residence and he had been outside yelling and running into the middle of the street, the complaint states.
