Here's Something to Not Talk About at the 20-Year Reunion

A Waukesha man generously offers to share his cocaine with an old acquaintance, not realizing the man is now in law enforcement.

He was just trying to be friendly, it seemed, but a Waukesha man chose the wrong individual with whom to share his cocaine stash.

A detective in the Waukesha County Metro Drug Unit was at Sunset Bowl when he was approached by Jose Diaz back on Feb. 2. Diaz and the detective had been in high school together.

According to a criminal complaint, Diaz patted his shirt pocket, an indication to the detective that Diaz wanted to share narcotics with him.

They went into a bathroom stall. Diaz produced a baggie of cocaine and a pocket knife with which to snort it. The detective produced his police ID.

Diaz has been summoned to appear in court on July 1.
