Ear-Bite Victim Not Pressing Charges
Caregiver, 47, lost ear to 24-year-old man with limited cognitive abilities on Friday in Waukesha.
The caregiver of a 24-year-old man who bit the caregiver’s ear off is not pressing charges in the incident, Waukesha Now is reporting.
Officers were called to Medical College of Wisconsin, 2315 W. Moreland Blvd., shortly before 3 p.m. Friday, where they found a 47-year-old man missing his ear. The victim as taken to Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa for non-life-threatening injuries, and the 24-year-old was arrested, police said..
The 24-year-old man suffers from a benign brain tumor that limits his cognitive abilities and was at the medical center for blood testing after a prior biting incident, Waukesha Now is reporting. The man became unruly at the health center and bit off the caregiver’s ear before returning it to the caregiver, the newspaper reported.

The incident comes about six weeks after a man had part of his ear bitten off in a bar fight in Oak Creek.
