Dumped Motorcycle Leads to Felony OWI Charge

Utah man, Steven B. Flaugher, faces his sixth drunken driving charge after arrest in Waukesha.

A man was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving after he dumped his motorcycle at 7:31 p.m. Friday in the 2100 block of Silvernail Road.

Steven B. Flaugher, 61, of Salt Lake City, Utah, was charged Monday in Waukesha County Circuit Court with his sixth drunken driving charged. He faces up to three years in prison and $10,000 in fines if convicted.

Flaugher was at a service center at an area business and had slurred, glassy eyes, according to the Waukesha Police Department’s call log. He also urinated on himself.

Flaugher had a 0.2 percent blood alcohol concentration, the criminal complaint states. He was previously convicted of drunken driving in May 1990, October 1990, July 1991, July 1996 and January 2004.
