2 Face Charges After Waukesha Woman Overdoses on Heroin

Woman was drinking, taking pills and snorting heroin before she overdosed, according to criminal complaint.

A Dousman man is facing charges after a Waukesha woman overdosed on heroin Wednesday inside her home in the 1100 block of White Rock Avenue.

Dustin P. O’Brien, 21, is facing one count of manufacture and delivery of heroin, one count of possession of narcotic drugs, one count of possession of drug paraphernalia, one count of obstructing an officer and one count of bail jumping in . If convicted, he faces up to 17 ½ years in prison.

Police were called to the residence at 3:06 a.m. Wednesday after Sarah R. Lundberg overdosed on drugs and was barely breathing. Rescue workers were able to revive her and took her to Waukesha Memorial Hospital for treatment.

Lundberg told officers O’Brien came to her house the day before and they were doing shots and she also took four Hydrocodone pills. O’Brien began snorting lines of heroin and offered some to Lundberg, which she used.

O’Brien initially told police he didn’t know why Lundberg was in bad condition, but later admitted to sharing drugs with her.

He’s currently being held in county jail on $2,500 bond while awaiting trial. Lundberg is also charged with one count of possession of narcotic drugs in the case and could face up to 3 ½ years in prison.
