Domestic Disturbance Near Minooka Park Ends in Arrest

Neighbor tells Waukesha police she heard a man threaten to shoot another person and police, according to the call log.

A domestic disturbance that blocked a portion of East Sunset Drive near Minooka Park in Waukesha Friday evening ended in arrest after a neighbor reported hearing a man threaten to shoot a woman and police, according to the Waukesha Police Department’s call log.

Officers were called to the 1700 block of East Sunset Drive at 7:38 p.m. after the neighbor reported the threats and believed the man was intoxicated. The caller also heard items being thrown around the apartment, according to the call log.

The Waukesha County regional armored vehicle was used at the scene to help bring the man safely into custody, the call log states. The suspect, who was described as uncooperative, was arrested shortly before 9 p.m. Friday.

The call log does not state whether the man's threats were legitimate or if a weapon was recovered.
