On Saturday, Grauer went by his cousin’s wife’s home in the 200 block of Maria Street and asked the woman if he could borrow her gun so he could get $400 from a man who owed him money. She said 'No' and went upstairs to tend to her children. She came back down later to find Grauer leaving with his girlfriend.

She later went to go check on the gun and noticed it was missing so she called her husband, who called Grauer and demanded he bring the gun back. Grauer did bring the gun back and wiped it off before giving it back to the woman and begged her to not call the cops.
