Three people are in custody after it was reported a person with a gun was threatening others at a business in the 1600 block of Lincoln Avenue Friday afternoon, according to Lt. Kevin Kober.
A responding officer located the suspect’s vehicle, and officers conducted a high-risk traffic stop at Highway 164 and East Main Street, shutting down traffic at the intersection for about 20 minutes. It was not yet confirmed if the suspect actually had a weapon, Kober said.
The dispute at the business was over money owed, Kober said.
Police continue to investigate the incident.
