15-Year Sentence Levied in Homicide Case Involving Heroin

Brandon Ward, 26, left Justin Schulthess passed out in a driveway, where he died.

A Waukesha man will spend six years in prison for helping supply the heroin that killed another man last year.

Brandon Ward, 26, received a 15-year sentence Monday in Waukesha County Circuit Court. The first seven will be spent in prison, minus 457 days for time served. An additional eight years will be served under probation.

Ward was a passenger last February when Justin Schulthess drove to Milwaukee to buy heroin from Coleon Gallion, Ward’s dealer. Schulthess passed out after shooting up the drugs with Ward in the car; Ward drove Schulthess back to his home and left him there in the driveway, where police found him.
