WISN: Woman Nearly Booted From Miller Park for Ryan Braun 'Fraud' Jersey

Karen Eidem, of Pewaukee, was told modified jersey didn't adhere to the fan's code of conduct.

Milwaukee Brewers fans are understandably upset with Ryan Braun after he was suspended for the rest of the 2013 season for violating the MLB’s Joint Drug Agreement, meaning he used performance-enhancing drugs.

Karen Eidem, of Pewaukee, went to Miller Park on Wednesday after she made a few changes to her Braun jersey to make it say “Fraud” on the back. She told Patch’s media partners at WISN 12 News she wasn’t the only fan to modify a Braun jersey, so she was surprised that the word fraud nearly got her thrown out of the stadium.

“I was told I wasn't adhering to the fan code of conduct,” Eidem told WISN 12 News.

The Milwaukee Brewers have apologized for the security staff’s behavior and offered Eidem a ticket to another game, according to an Associated Press article.
