National Night Out returned to Pewaukee on a sunny Tuesday evening as families came to the community safety event.

Pewaukee Police Chief Tim Otto said Tuesday's National Night Out was the first time the department has held the event in years.
The event continues until 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Pewaukee Police Department.
