Patch Expands Coverage to Pewaukee

Pewaukee residents now have a central place to post announcements, events and community information.

After Patch.com launched in Waukesha County in December 2010, we heard many people ask when we would launch a Pewaukee Patch.

For the past 2-1/2 years, we’ve operated Patch websites in Brookfield, Waukesha, Menomonee Falls, Sussex and Muskego. But we were missing a key space – Pewaukee.

With the addition of Patch 2.0, we have decided to expand our coverage into Pewaukee to create a space where the community can share ideas, promote events and have a conversation about Pewaukee. In addition, Waukesha residents will be able to learn more about the neighbors to the north, including new businesses and cool events they should check out.

Now Pewaukee businesses, organizations and residents will have a central place to post their announcements, events and photos. The Boards are a totally open place on Patch where you can post Announcements about anything you want -- lost cats and dogs, school plays, wedding announcements, or that strange thing you saw. There’s a Speak Out Board — because everyone in town has an opinion, so why not put it all in one place? The Buy/Sell/Trade Board is where you can post your garage sale and get rid of the stuff that’s taken over your basement. And there’s a Board for Business Updates — a dedicated spot for business owners to post news about sales, specials, openings and closings.

You can also start a blog yourself — any time, about anything on the Patch.com site.

But our Pewaukee coverage does not end there. You can follow us on the Pewaukee Patch Facebook page – make sure to tell your friends too!
