4-Star Table Tennis Tournament Comes To Waukesha

Waukesha, WI – The 2013 Butterfly Badger Open will bring 2 days, 22 events and a competitive spirit to Waukesha at Center Court Sports Complex, September 21-22, 2013. Skilled table tennis players from all over the US and Canada will compete on 36 tables in men’s, women’s and juniors divisions competing for over $11,500 in prize money, including $3,600 first place for the open singles event. This is a USATT sanctioned 4-star event.

 

Make a day of it! Spectators are welcome for just $5 day pass or only $7 for the whole family. Watch for Wang (Eugene) Zhen Badger Open Singles champion from 2010, 2011 and 2012.  Zhen, who is also is a US Open Champion, currently lives and plays in Europe and will be back to defend his title. For the table tennis enthusiast, recreational play event will begin at 4pm on Saturday for any unrated player; walk in and register by 3:30pm Saturday, September 21st to play.
