Obituary: Terri Lee Butchart Darling

Waukesha woman dies at age 56.

Terri Lee Butchart Darling, of Waukesha, passed away at home on Monday, Jan. 2, 2012 at the age of 56.

She was born on Dec. 7, 1955, in Milwaukee, the daughter of Neil and Caryl (nee Froemming) Butchart. She was a 1974 graduate of Waukesha South High School. Terri was a successful entrepreneur and was the owner of Fieldcrest Mortgage. She was president of WAMB (Wisconsin Association of Mortgage Brokers) and very well known in the banking, title and mortgage industry. Terri enjoyed camping, working out, running, motorcycle riding, gardening and entertaining guests.  She loved going up north to her cabin, traveling to Florida and the beach.  She will always be remembered for her kind heart and passion to put others first. 

Terri will be missed by her husband John of Waukesha, along with their children Leslie Darling of Waukesha, Jenna Darling of Nashville, TN and Ian Darling of Waukesha and her father Neil Butchart of Waukesha. She is further survived by her sister Kim (Jim) Rowe of Cambridge, her brother Dan (Jill) Butchart of Mukwonago, her father and mother-in-law John E. and Geraldine Darling of St. Petersburg, FL, brother-in-law Jim (Cathy) Darling of Brandon, FL, along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.  She was preceded in death by her mother Caryl Butchart and her grandparents.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2012, from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. A time for sharing will be held at 6 p.m. at the funeral home followed by the funeral service at 6:30 p.m. The Rev. Larry Smith will preside. Graveside services will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, Jan. 11, at Prairie Home Cemetery.  Please meet at the funeral home at 10:15 a.m. for a procession to the cemetery.
