Obituary: Sue Lynn Land-Meier

Waukesha woman, 63, died Sunday at Seasons Hospice.

Sue Lynn Land-Meier, life-long resident of Waukesha, died on Sunday, May 12, 2013 at Seasons Hospice at the age of 63 years. Sue was born on March 30, 1950, the daughter of Frank and Lorraine Bellin. On September 22, 1990, she married Gary Meier.  Sue was a faithful member of the RiverGlen Christian Church of Waukesha. She enjoyed knitting, baking, music and musicals. Sue was also a devout Red Hatter and was part of the “Wild but Wonderful” chapter. Sue’s greatest joy, however, was spending time with her family and friends.

Sue will be dearly missed by her husband, Gary; children, Christina (Shelly Jensen) Land, Bryan Meier,  Jim (Sandy) Meier, and Tracy (Ron) Gilkey; granddaughters, Alexa and Brooke; mother, Lorraine Bellin; sisters, Cindi (Lonnie) Wallace, Nancy Bellin, and Lori (Tim) Johnson. Sue is further survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Frank and her first husband, David Land.

The visitation for Sue will be held from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the 5:00 p.m. service on Sunday, May 19, 2013 at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha, WI 53188. The Reverend John Howard will officiate the service.
