Sally Ann Byrne, a lifelong Waukesha resident died on Monday, Oct. 8, 2012, at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the age of 81.
She was born in Waukesha on April 1, 1931, the daughter of the late Herman and Muriel (nee Menick) Yopps. Sally was a devoted member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She will be sadly missed by her children: Peggy (Todd) Zweifel of Waukesha, Bridget (Nick) Calvano of Waukesha and Peter (Laura) Byrne of Waukesha. She was the dear grandmother of Dominic and Britty Calvano and Abbi Byrne all of Waukesha. She is further survived by her sister Lois Seidl of Butler, her sister-in-law Margaret Farner of New Berlin, her brother-in-law James Byrne of Waukesha along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Francis on Aug. 20, 2003, and by her sisters: Eleanor Ramstack, Elizabeth Byrne and Evelyn Krahn.

A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 822 N. East Avenue, Waukesha, WI 53186. Father Bill Key will preside. Graveside services will immediately follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. If desired, memorials in Sally’s names are appreciated to St. Joseph Catholic Church (address above).
