Obituary: Ruth M. Kahn

Ruth M. Kahn of Waukesha passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2013 at the age of 87 years at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born May 8, 1926, in Muskego, WI, the daughter of Walter and Hilda (nee Barske) Rindt. Ruth married Raymond Kahn on February 18, 1950. She was a longtime active member of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church and was active with the Ladies Guild of Beautiful Savior. Ruth enjoyed sewing and was a great gardener. Most of all she loved spending time with her family.

Ruth will be dearly missed by her children, Kevin (Jill) Kahn of Helenville, Thomas Kahn of Waukesha and Laurie (Gregory) Brown of Waukesha; grandchildren, Andrea, Clint, Felicia (Carlos)

Garduno, Gregory  Brown Jr., Cassandra Brown; great-grandchildren, Yanitza Garduno, Natalia Garduno and Camilla Olmos; sister,  Jean Wallschlaeger; brother, Walter (Marion) Rindt ; sister-in-law, Sylvia Rindt. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. Ruth is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond; brothers, Bobby and Richard Rindt; sister, Myrtle (Irv) Halverson.

The visitation for Ruth will be held from 4 p.m. until the time of the 6:30p.m. funeral service on Friday, Aug. 9, 2013 at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, 1205 S. East Ave., Waukesha, WI 53188. The Reverend Peter A. Schmidt will be officiating. Committal services will take place on Saturday, Aug. 10, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. please meet at the Green parking Area at Wisconsin Memorial Park, 13235 W. Capitol Dr. Brookfield, WI. In lieu of flowers memorials in Ruth’s name to Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church appreciated (please see address above).
