Obituary: Ralph A. Scrima

Waukesha man, 51, was a warrior for the pro-life movement.

Ralph A. Scrima, of Waukesha, died on Monday, Nov. 26, 2012, at his home at the age of 51.

He was born on Jan. 26, 1961, in Waukesha, the son of Anthony and Jean V. (nee Crandall) Scrima.  For many years he had worked for Wirtz Beverage in Pewaukee.  He was a devout Catholic, who was strong in his faith and a warrior for the pro-life movement.  Family was very important to Ralph.

He will be sadly missed by the love of his life Lori Pecsi, of West Bend and her children David and Adam Pecsi, who were also very special to Ralph, by his sister Kathryn Copenhaver of Auburn, CA and brothers Leonard (Athena) Scrima of Waukesha and Robert (Jill) Scrima of Georgetown, TX; nieces Karen, Diane, Donna, Julie, Shannon and Nicole and nephew Anthony.  He is further survived by many great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Anthony on Jan. 17, 1975 and his mother Jean on Aug. 18, 2011.

Visitation will be held on Friday, Nov. 30, from 10:30 a.m. until the 11:30 a.m. funeral Mass all at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 225 S. Hartwell Ave., Waukesha.  Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
