Obituary: Nancy A. Seehafer

West Allis woman most recently Kuenzi Family Pet Hospital in Waukesha.

Nancy A. Seehafer, of West Allis, passed away Thursday, Jan. 12, 2012, at her home surrounded by her family. She was 62.

Nancy was born on July 21, 1949, in Marshfield, WI, the daughter of Armon and Florence (nee Koch) Seehafer. She was a 1967 graduate of Columbus High School in Marshfield, and a 1971 graduate of UW-Eau Claire receiving her bachelor’s degree in teaching. She graduated from the Veterinary Technician Program at Madison Area Technical College in 1980. She worked as a veterinary technician in Chicago and the Milwaukee area, most recently at Kuenzi Family Pet Hospital in Waukesha.  She was a member of the Wisconsin Veterinary Technician Association and the Zoological Society of Milwaukee.  She enjoyed gardening and was very interested and knowledgeable in flower gardening and perennials.

She will be sadly missed by her parents Armon “Toby” and Florence Seehafer of Marshfield and her sisters Mary and Julie Seehafer both of Marshfield.  She is further survived by other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, Jan. 14, from 2 p.m. until the 4 p.m. funeral service at Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha.  Burial will be held at Gate of Heaven in Marshfield. Memorials in Nancy’s name are appreciated to the Zoological Society of Milwaukee 10005 W. Bluemound Road, Milwaukee, WI  53226.
