Obituary: Murray J. “Bupa” Brant

Murray J. Brant, of Waukesha, passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at his  home at the age of 82 years surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on February 17, 1931 the son of Molly (Weining) Brant. Murray was united in marriage on October 14, 1950 in Milwaukee, to the former Mary E. Conigliaro. He was a long time and dedicated employee of Miller Compressing Company as the best Crane Operator until his retirement in 2003. Murray was a faithful member of St. William Catholic Church. He enjoyed fly fishing, hunting at The Land and most of all  spending time with his family.

Murray is survived by his loving children, Vincent Brant of Waukesha, Mary (Jerry) Gosa of Kewaskum and Gina (Jeff) Rose of North Prairie;  his grandchildren, Christina Brant, Andrea (Jeff) Lytle, Jennifer Brant,  Rachel (Jim) Lustig, David (Keri), Katie (Matt) Gundrum, Colleen (Dan) Nalepinski, Jeffrey (Kimberly), Vincent , Mary (Matt) Soch and Sara Rose; his great-grandchildren;  Jacob, Norah, Leah, Tyler, Lily, Jackson Murray, Reagan, Ellie, baby Lucas, baby Viola, Marina, Corbin, Laila and Collin. Murray is further survived by four siblings, Jerry (Janice), Alyce Hodge, Peter and Miles; sister-in-law, Grace Erato. Favorite uncle to many nieces and nephews. Also survived by many friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, mother-in-law, Ethel and  loving wife, Mary E. Brant on February 5, 2002.

The visitation for Murray will be held on Friday, May 31, 2013 from 11:30 a.m. until the 12:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. William Catholic Church, 440 N. Moreland Blvd. Waukesha, WI 53188. Entombment will immediately follow to St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. The Brant family would like to express their appreciation to Dawn Kallin, Ben Otis and the caregivers of Comfort Keepers.  

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Murray may be given to NBIA Disorders Association, 2082 Monaco Ct. El Cajon, CA 92019.
