She was born on Aug. 21, 1907, in Milwaukee and moved to Waukesha at three years of age.  She attended White Rock Grade School and Waukesha High School.  Mary was a longtime member of St. Joseph’s and St. Mary’s Catholic Church where she was a member of Christian Mothers.

Mary enjoyed playing cards at Merrill Hills Country Club where she and her husband, Tony, were members for many years.  She was a wonderful cook and loved baking bread every week for family and friends.  Mary was also an avid Brewer fan.  She watched most games on TV, and for her 105th birthday, some of the Avalon staff took her to a home game at Miller Park.
