Obituary: Mary A. Krueger

Waukesha woman, 88, passed away Wednesday.

Mary A. Krueger, of Waukesha, passed away at Waukesha Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at the age of 88.

She was born on February 8, 1925, in Waukesha, WI, the daughter of Ralph and Esther (nee Klatt) Monroe. Mary was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Waukesha. She enjoyed ceramics and traveling, especially to those wonderful trips to her cottage in Manitowish Waters, WI. Mary’s greatest joy, however, was spending time with her friends and family.

Mary will be sadly missed by her children, Carol (Thomas Putz) Fisher and David (Marilyn) Krueger; grandchildren Brian (Pam) Fisher, Jeff Fisher, Dan (Dani) Krueger and Becky (Robert) Frayer; great-grandchildren Joshua Fisher, Zachery Fisher, Evan Frayer and Ashley Frayer; great-great-grandchild Grayson; and brother, Robert Monroe. She will also be terribly missed by her long-time and special friend of over 31 years, Gary Jackson. Mary is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Harvey, sister-in-law Patricia Monroe, son-in-law Richard Fisher, and grandson David Fisher.

The visitation for Mary will be held from noon until the 3 p.m. funeral service on Sunday, April 7, 2013 at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd. Waukesha, WI 53188. Burial will take place on Monday, April 8, 2013 at 10 a.m. at Prairie Home Cemetery in Waukesha, WI (Please meet at the cemetery office).
