Obituary: Marvin Albert Metz

Marvin Albert Metz of Waukesha, died on Wednesday, June 12, 2013, at River Hills West at the age of 94 years. He was born on November 16, 1919, son of William and Agnes Metz. Marvin received a purple heart for his valiant efforts while serving his country in the United States Army during World War II.

Marvin will be dearly missed by his wife, Elizabeth; step-sons, Michael (Sandy) Curren and Steven Curren; step-grandchildren; nieces, and nephews. Marvin is further survived by many other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Matt, Jake, Clem, Benny, and sisters, Ottilia, Antoinette and Theresa.

The visitation for Marvin will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, June 17, 2013, at St. Anthony on the Lake Catholic Church, W280 N2101 Prospect Ave., (Hwy SS) Pewaukee, WI 53072. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the charity of the donor’s choice are appreciated.
