Obituary: Marjorie Krohn Sutton

Waukesha woman, 89, passed away Friday at AngelsGrace Hospice.

Marjorie Krohn Sutton, of Waukesha, was reunited with her loving husband on Friday, May 18, 2013 at AngelsGrace Hospice at the age of 89 years. 

She was born in Wisconsin Rapids, WI on July 26, 1923 the daughter of John A. and Amalia (nee Leader) Krohn. On September 11, 1948 she married Quintin H. Sutton; he preceded her in death on June 7, 2012.  Marjorie was a member of the Waukesha Service Club and an active member of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church for many years.  She was an avid reader, enjoyed playing bridge and loved to bird watch. For over 20 years, Marjorie and Quintin would spend the winters in Port Charlotte, FL.

She will be sadly missed by her daughter Patricia (Matthew) Sutton-Knight of Topsfield, MA and her two grandchildren William and Grace of Topsfield.  She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews and other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband Quintin, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Arlene (Grover) Gene, Tom and Donald Krohn.  Her granddaughter, Grace, had just completed a 30-page family bio project on Marjorie’s life.
