Obituary: Julia M. Renna

Waukesha woman graduated from Waukesha High School in 1949.

Julia M. Renna, of Waukesha, died on Sunday, August 19, 2012 at Twin Oaks in Delafield at age 80.

She was born in Waukesha on June 11, 1932 the daughter of the late Ernesto and Laurina (nee DeGelorma) Renna.  Julia was a 1949 graduate of Waukesha High School and worked as a bookkeeper at Jack Griffin Ford for many years.  She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and St. Mary Catholic Church in Waukesha.

She will be very dearly missed by her brother Auggie (Dorothy) Renna of Menomonee Falls, her sister Viola Kovalesky of Phoenix, AZ, by her nieces and nephews: Fred (Caryl) Orlando of Hartland, Barb (Greg) Schulte of Brookfield, Diane (Jack) Finger of Ellison Bay, Dennis (Kathy) Scrima of Eagle, Tim Moore of Kenosha, Jeff Moore of Phoenix, AZ, Beth Ann Elliote of Kenosha, Robert (Patsi) Kovalesky of Phoenix, AZ, Patricia (Michael) Powell of Arizona, Holly Sherman of Milwaukee and Renee (Mike) Dryer of Whitefish Bay.  She is further survived by her best friend of 70 years Connie Kline and many great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters Corrine Orlando, Antoinette Scrima and Anna Moore and her brothers George Renna, and Domonic Renna.

A private family funeral Mass was held on Thursday, Aug. 23, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Waukesha. Burial followed the Mass at St. Joseph Cemetery.

Memorials in Julia’s name are appreciated to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 822 N. East Avenue Waukesha, WI 53186.
