Obituary: Joanna D. Kahler

Joanna D. Kahler, of New Berlin joined Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior, along with her mother and father, in the glory of heaven, on Friday, July 12, 2013 at the age of 60.

She was born May 18, 1953 in Memphis, Tennessee the daughter of John G. and Helen K. (nee: Herlovich) Duke.  Joanna was a graduate of Westover High School in Albany Georgia, and graduated from Albany Jr. College as a Registered Nurse.  On June 7, 1971 she married Robert Kahler in Albany, Georgia. She was a faithful member at The Church of Acts in Waukesha.  She was very dedicated to her grandchildren, children, husband, and her relationship with Jesus Christ.

She will missed by her husband Robert of New Berlin, her children: Melanie K. Kloth of New Berlin, and Rob (Amanda) Kahler Jr. of Waukesha, grandchildren: Christian M. Kloth, Cassia J. Kloth, Corinna B. Kloth, Renata C. Kloth, Katlynn L. Kahler, Robert P. Kahler, Jonathan J. Kahler.  She is also survived by her brother  Stephen E. (Anne) Duke of Athens Georgia, other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held Wednesday July 17, 2013 from 4 p.m. until the funeral service begins at 6 p.m. at The Church of Acts, 900 S. Grand Ave. Waukesha, WI 53186.  Rev. David Liebherr will preside.  Graveside services will be on Thursday July 18, 2013 at 10 a.m. at Prairie Home Cemetery (Please meet at the cemetery office).
