Jean B. Rakowski, age 87, of Pewaukee joined her loving husband in eternal peace on Mon., Nov. 12, 2012 after a short illness.
She was born in Milwaukee on Jan. 20, 1925, the daughter of Walter and Martha (nee Wojtkiewicz) Szczygiel. She will be greatly missed by her children: Gail (Art) Ruggles, Karen (Earl) Phillips and Judi (Lisa) Chandellor, her grandchildren: Nicole (Tim) Brouillette, Jason (Michelle) Ruggles and Bryan (Julie) Phillips and her great-grandchildren: Jacob and Joey Brouillette and Henlee Jean Ruggles. Further survived by her sister Dorothy Borzenski and special friend and cousin Leone Weslowski along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her husband Ralph, grandson Justin Ruggles and her brothers and sisters.
The visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012. The funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. at St. William Catholic Church, 440 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha, WI 53188. Private interment at St. Adalbert Cemetery.
