Obituary: Jay P. Rhyner

Wales man died at Waukesha Memorial Hospital.

Jay P. Rhyner, of Wales, died unexpectedly on Monday, Feb. 27, 2012, at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the age of 51.

He was born on Feb. 3, 1961, in Waukesha, the son of Roger and Betty Jane (nee Jameson) Rhyner. He graduated from Kettle Moraine High School, where he developed a love for basketball and later enjoyed coaching for his daughter’s  youth basketball teams.  For 25 years he was the superintendent at Waukesha Concrete.  Jay was a very caring person who had a huge heart.  He loved telling jokes and anyone who met him always left with a smile on their face.  The greatest joy in his life were his wife, two daughters and two grandsons.

He will be sadly missed by his wife Bonnie (nee Weber) of Wales, along with their children, Ashley (Tony) Duffek of Harshaw, WI and Nicole Rhyner of Milwaukee. Beloved grandfather of Noah Jay Duffek and Benjamin Duffek.  He is further survived by seven brothers and sisters, nieces, nephews and many friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents.
