Obituary: James A. Eschenbach

Waukesha man, who served with the U.S. Navy, dies at age 82.

James A. Eschenbach, of Waukesha, formerly of Milwaukee, died Sept. 29, 2012, at his home at the age of 82.

He was born in Wausau on April 23, 1930, the son of Andrew and Hilda (nee: Wolfgram) Eschenbach.  On Dec. 18, 1954, he married the former Delores Luedtke in Wausau. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. He was a former member of Salem Lutheran Church in Milwaukee and a current member of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church in Waukesha. 

He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Delores of Waukesha and their children Jane (Fredrik) Olsen of Mukwonago and Andrew Eschenbach of Dallas, TX.  His grandchildren: Laura and Sarah Olsen of Mukwonago, and Robert (Cassandra) Eschenbach of Muskego, and his sisters: Virginia (Thomas) Birt of Wausau, and Carol (Richard) Ghert of Wausau.  He is further survived by his daughter-in-law Connie Eschenbach of Lake Mills, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.  James was preceded in death by his son Michael in 2011 and his two sisters Hazel and Gladys.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012, from 4:30 p.m. until the 8 p.m. funeral service at Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home 1110 S. Grand Avenue Waukesha. Reverend Michael Turriff will preside. Entombment with private prayers will be at Pinelawn Memorial Park on Thursday Oct. 3, 2012.
