Obituary: Jack O. Reese

Waukesha man, 87, passed away on Tuesday.

Jack O. Reese, a lifelong resident of Waukesha, passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at his residence at the age 87 years.

Jack was born on July 27, 1925, in Waukesha, to Oscar and Clara (Highley) Reese. Jack served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II.  He was a longtime member of the Evangelical and Reformed United Church of Christ. He had been employed with Waukesha Parks and Recreation. Jack was an avid golfer and sports fan. He enjoyed attending high school games as well as following the Packers, Braves and Brewers.

Jack is survived by his loving sons, Randy (Linda) Reese of Pewaukee, and Robert Reese of Waukesha; two grandchildren, Kelly and David Reese; sister, Lois Schickowski of Waukesha, WI; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Alvin (Sally) Pals, of Florida.  Also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Lorraine Reese in 2004, his parents, and a brother-in-law, Rick Schickowski.

The visitation for Jack will be held Monday evening, March 11, 2013, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Cesarz, Charapata, and Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha, WI 53188. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, please see address above. The Rev. James Gorman will be officiating. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park in New Berlin on Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. (Please meet at the main entrance.).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Jack may be directed to the Pewaukee High School Booster Club, 510 Lake Street, Pewaukee, WI, 53072-2361.
