Obituary: Heriberto Villarreal

Hartland man co-owned El Rey Mexican Products.

Heriberto Villarreal, of Hartland, died Sunday, Nov. 6, 2011, at his home at the age of 71.

He was born on May 16, 1940, in Mexico, the son of Octavio and Guadalupe (nee Maldonado) Villarreal.  On Nov. 28, 1964, he married the former Criselda Gomez at St. Joseph Catholic Church.  He was the co-owner of El Rey Mexican Products Inc., where business was always a family affair.  Beto was a leader in the south side community and involved with many organizations.

He will be sadly missed by his wife Criselda of Hartland, along with their children Dianna Villarreal of Hartland and Laura (Jason) Hyland of Delafield.  Proud grandfather of Haley, Jacob and Keely.  He is further survived by his siblings Armando Villarreal of Mission, Texas, Umbelina Villarreal of Houston, TX, Ernesto (M. Olivia) Villarreal of Hartland and Gerardo (Maria) Villarreal of Houston, TX, along with many nieces, nephews, as well as other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, Nov. 8, from 4 p.m. until the 8  p.m. rosary service at , 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha.

Services continue at the funeral home on Wednesday, Nov. 9, with prayers beginning at 9:30 a.m. followed by the procession to St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 822 N. East Ave., Waukesha for the 10:30 a.m. funeral Mass. Graveside services will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
