Obituary: Gloria J. Olivier (formerly Jackson, nee Gore)

Gloria J. Olivier (formerly Jackson, nee Gore), of Waukesha, born May 29, 1945, in Chicago, the daughter of James H. Sr. and Virginia (nee Locke) Gore, died Monday, April 16, 2012, at Aurora VNA Zilber Family Hospice at the age of 66 years.

Gloria was a former member of Community Baptist Church of Greater Milwaukee. During her illness she attended Fox River Community Christian Church.  She was a member of the Order of Eastern Stars and was also a RSVP volunteer.  Gloria retired from Ameritech (SBC) after 20 years of employment.

She will be sadly missed by her children, Dawn and Ara Jackson; her grandchildren, Aran, Arick, Saira and Ceara; nephews, James (Josefa)and, Dennis; niece, Denise (Tony); her grandnieces, Jessica, Janine, Cherie; grandnephew, Tony (Kaneshe); great-nieces, H’Vyn, Kenyjeh, Eryn, Tamyra and Lela; and one brother, James (Mary) Gore Jr.  She is further survived by other relatives and friends.  Gloria is preceded in death by her parents.

A visitation for Gloria will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. with a Family Hour from 6 to 7 p.m. on Monday, April 23, 2012, at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd. Waukesha, WI 53188.  A second visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the 10 a.m. funeral service on Tuesday, April 24, at the funeral home.  Bishop Charles Jordan will officiate.  Interment will immediately follow at Prairie Home Cemetery, Waukesha.
