Obituary: George E. Fiebrink

George E. Fiebrink, 85, of Pewaukee (formerly of New Berlin) died on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family.

George was born on Dec. 8, 1927, the son of George F. and Florence (Reinholtz) Fiebrink in Milwaukee, WI. George married Mary (Wray) in June of 1949.  He worked alongside of his father to learn the trade of cabinet making at Advance Woodwork and continued on in this business for many years after his father’s death.   George was an active member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, and of all things, he was most devoted to his family.

George will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Mary, of 64 years; his children, Mark (Dianne) Fiebrink of Naples, FL and Dianne (Michael) Mockler of Goodfield, IL; his daughter-in-law, Patricia (Nevin) Van Antwerpen of Chenequa;  his grandchildren, Rebecca (Ariane Alexander) Fiebrink  of Jersey City, NJ, Stephanie (Timothy) Fiebrink Broderick of Bedford, TX and Adam (Lauralee) Fiebrink of Anchorage, AK; and twin great-grandchildren, Lilly May and Gregory Ian Fiebrink on the way.   He is preceded in death by his son, Todd Fiebrink.

The visitation for George will be held on Saturday, Aug. 3, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. until the time of the noon memorial service at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 424 Hyde Park Ave., Waukesha, WI   53188.   Rev. Andy Fetters officiating.  Memorials are appreciated to St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church (address above).   Interment will be at Prairie Home Cemetery, Waukesha.
