Obituary: Francis A. “Cisco” Meleski

Francis  A. “Cisco” Meleski of Waukesha entered into eternal life at home, on Tuesday, May 21, 2013, at the age of 78.  

He was born on April 2, 1935 in Milwaukee, WI, the son of Anthony George and Mary Margaret (Banach) Meleski. Francis was a 1953 graduate of DonBosco High School. He was united in marriage on November 15, 1958 to the former Carol A. Pemper at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in West Allis, WI.

Francis had been employed for over 35 years as a Semi Truck Driver with Roadway Trucking. He was a faithful member of St. William Catholic Church. His faith and God were very important to him. He enjoyed spending time with his family.

Francis will be deeply missed by his children, Elaine (Steve) Whittmore of AZ and Robin (Chris) Poquette of Waukesha, WI; grandchildren, Jessica (Robert) Schrimpf, Bryan Whittmore, Alexis, Joe and Jack Poquette and by one great-grandson, Ethan Schrimpf; brothers, Tony, Charles and Michael Meleski; sisters, Agnes (Wally) Suchalla, Theresa (Dirk) Wichgers; two brothers-in-law, Duane Mlachnik and Jan VanDulm; three sisters-in-law, Nancy, Marlene and Judy Meleski. Francis is further survived by Jim (Alice) Pemper, Carolann Pemper and by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, loving wife, Carol A. Meleski on October 3, 2010; two brothers, Joe and John Meleski and by three sisters, Maryann, Claire and Rose. The visitation for Francis were held Friday.
