Obituary: Dorothy M. “Dottie” Harris

Dorothy M. “Dottie” Harris, of Waukesha, died on Monday, June 4, 2012, at AngelsGrace Hospice at the age of 88 years.

Dottie was born in North Prairie on Sept. 15, 1923 daughter of Stanley and Mary Zamorski. She married the love of her life, Bill Harris on July 29,1950. Dottie enjoyed bowling, golfing, listening to Polka music, and eating out at the Blue Bay Restaurant in Mukwonago. Dottie’s greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends.

Dottie will be dearly missed by her husband of 63 years, Bill; and her brother, Robert (Margie) Zamorski. Dottie is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.

The visitation for Dottie will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 8, 2012, at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 2400 Highway 59, Waukesha, WI 53189. The Reverend John Schreiter will be officiating. Burial will immediately follow the Mass at Oak Knoll Cemetery, Mukwonago (Please meet at the cemetery).In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the American Cancer Society, N19 W24350 Riverwood Dr., Waukesha, WI 53188, AngelsGrace Hospice, W359 N7430 Brown St., County Hwy P, Oconomowoc, WI 53066 or to St. John Neumann Catholic Church (see address above).
