Obituary: Donald H. Raush

The Town of Waukesha resident and World War II veteran died Thursday at age 86.

Donald H. Raush, of the Town of Waukesha, died on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at his home at the age of 86 years.  He was born in Milwaukee on April 29, 1927 the son of Louis Raush and Martha Myrtle Menol.  He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during WWII.  On Sept. 12, 1949 he married Dorathy Keena and together they celebrated 63 years of marriage.  Donald owned and operated gas stations on the corners of 68th and North Avenue in Wauwatosa and 9th and Bruce in Milwaukee.

He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Dorathy of the Town of Waukesha and their children: Ronald Raush of Waukesha, Roy Raush of Madison, Ralph (Elizabeth) Raush of Waukesha and Kathy (Steve) Heine of Waukesha along with five grandchildren Susan (Jonathan) Hay of Waukesha, Michael Raush of Sturtevant, Kristine (Brad) Best of Menomonee Falls and Donald and James Raush of Waukesha and one great-grandchild Shannyn Best of Menomonee Falls.  He is further survived by other relatives and friends.  In addition to his parents his son Scott Raush preceded him in death.
