Obituary: Cory Weber

Waukesha woman dies at age 62. Her funeral will be held Friday.

Cory Weber, of Waukesha, died on Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2011, at LifeCare Hospital at the age of 62 years.

Cory was born on Sept. 15, 1949, a daughter of Eugene and Lois Feagles.  She married the love of her life, David Weber, on Oct. 19, 1974. Cory proudly worked as a unit clerk in various hospitals and clinics for many years.  She was an active member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Waukesha.  She was known as a Barnes and Noble “Junkie” who enjoyed cooking, watching classic movies, playing bridge with the girls, and volunteering for various organizations.  Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

Cory will be dearly missed by her husband and best friend, David; sons, Jared (Kelly) Weber, Jordan Weber, Shawn (Shannon) Weber and Shane (Jeri) Weber; father, Eugene; grandchildren, Ali, Dustin, Taylor and Shaylyn; sisters, Linda, Elizabeth and Jeanne. Cory is further survived by other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother.

The visitation for Cory will be from noon until the time of the 1 p.m. memorial service Friday, Nov. 25, 2011, at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha, WI 53188. The Rev. Larry Gates will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Cory’s name appreciated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, 2600 Network Blvd., Suite 300, Frisco, TX 75034, the Wounded Warrior Project, 1111 W. 22nd St., #620 Oak Brook, IL 60523 or the National Kidney Foundation of Wisconsin, 16655 W.
