Obituary: Buffy Marie Masalewicz

Waukesha woman dies at age 40 after battling renal disease.

Buffy Marie Masalewicz, of Waukesha, died unexpectedly on Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital following a long battle with renal disease at the age of 40 years.

She was born in Milwaukee on May 22, 1972 the daughter of Jan and Fawn (nee Zanow) Masalewicz. She was a 1990 graduate of Waukesha South High School. Buffy most recently worked at Visiting Angels as a caregiver and was attending Waukesha County Technical College to become a surgical technician.  She will always be remembered as a funny, outgoing and caring person.

She will be sadly missed by her parents Jan and Fawn Masalewicz of Waukesha, her brother Corey (Tracy) Masalewicz of Oconomowoc, her nephew Gunner Masalewicz and her niece Dakota Masalewicz both of Oconomowoc.  She is further survived by loving aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her grandparents Stanley and Agnes Masalewicz and Shirley Zanow.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012, from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. memorial service at Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Avenue, Waukesha. If desired, memorials are appreciated to the family.
