Obituary: Beverly K. “Bev” Robertson

Waukesha woman went to same church for more than 55 years.

Beverly K. “Bev” Robertson, of Waukesha, passed away peacefully while surrounded by her family on Friday, Jan. 27, 2012, at her home at the age of 79.

Bev was born in Waukesha on Aug. 3, 1932, the daughter of John and Alma (nee Wolf) Kadrich. She married the love of her life, James “Jim” Robertson on Nov. 10, 1956.

Bev was a dedicated member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Waukesha for more than 55 years. She was a member of the Christian Mothers Club at church for many years as well. Bev was known for her talkative personality and could start a conversation with anyone. She enjoyed gardening flowers, cross-stitching, ceramics and attending craft shows. While Bev was an avid sports fan and cheered for the Bucks, the Brewers, the Marquette and University of Wisconsin’s basketball teams, she especially enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren participate in various sports.  She was a part of the Nifty Fifty Club. Bev loved spending time in the Northwoods at their cottage in Three Lakes. She loved to decorate for the holidays but more than anything Bev loved her family and spending time with them.
